Our Story

“At the age of 21, my friend gifted me a jar of honey. Now, I’m not a fan of honey but I was excited about this one because this jar came with a note at the back that said, ‘This uni-flower honey is made from the nectar of a unique species of flower, found only in Kangra valley, Himachal. We have made this with utmost care and attention so you can taste the natural sweetness our land has to offer.’ I immediately started smiling about the flowers, the valley, the people and most importantly, about what I had just learnt.”

This is how Nazariya was born- to bridge the gap between the urban youth and the eroding cultures of India through information.

What we do

Our Mission

To preserve the rich heritage and indigenous cultures of India, one art form at a time.

Artisans

What our customers say about us?

“Art is what brings light to a world that’s broken and embraces grief in its entirety.

I am glad that organisations like @nazariyaofficial are doing everything in their capacity to bring out narratives that matter. I hope that the hope remains.”

Bhawna Khattar, Delhi

“He had a twinkle in his eye when he explained how he makes the calligraphy pens. That’s what art does to an artist, it brings love, it brings patience and it brings meaning. ”

Sanjana Govindan Jayadev, Bangalore

I participated in this experience to support the cause of Nazariya. Young, vibrant team that steals your heart. The senior calligrapher is probably one of few that have mastery over free-form, live calligraphy demonstration. A treat for those similarly inclined.

Shabnam Ansari, Dubai, UAE
